Wholesale Interest Rates, Friday Aug. 28, from California Upfront Mortgage Broker

Todays's LoanSifter search shows an improvement over yesterday for the best wholesale interest rates.  We see a lender rebate again at 4.875% with a price of 100.125.  That means for a $400,000 loan, the borrower can receive a rebate of $500.

This is an excellent time to lock the rate, as we are nicely under 5.0%.  It's still pretty expensive to buy down the rate to 4.75% though.
